How to find lowest value in excel in last five cells?
I have been trying to make a golf handicap tracker in excel. I have the formulas worked out fine but I need to find the lowest value in ONLY the last 5 handicap values each time I add a handicap. For example in the column for round handicap, there are 6 values but I want the lowest of only the newest 5. If value 1 is the lowest though it will record that. Is the a formula to automatically update the range of the calculation to the most recent 5 values?
Say your values are listed in column A. In B5 put
=IF(ISBLANK(A5),”",MIN(A1:A5))
… and drag this formula down column B. Every time you enter a new value in column A, the next cell will show the minimum value from the last 5 cells.
