It´s scorching here in Spain and the sky clouded over about 15 minutes ago. Quite normal for there to be a storm …..but there are chunks of ice falling .
Some of them are the size of FISTS!
Never seen anything like it in my life.
How is it possible?????
It is not uncommon, in fact places such as Alberta in Canada and ‘Tornado alley’ in the US have events like these on a regular basis.
These hailstones are the result of water droplets being super frozen in Cumulonimbi clouds (at a higher altitude) at the leading edge of a storm front ……….. you may well be in for some rough weather.
